About Us
Something Familiar and Something New
Nearly four decades ago, my parents came to the United States as first generation immigrants. They started a journey that eventually led them to create their first small business, a Chinese restaurant located in a small city in northeast Ohio. My mom would also create Asian-style cakes and desserts for customers who longed for a taste of their home countries. Kinfolk Bakery comes from a labor of love as we serve our communities with something familiar - or something new. Since 2018, Kinfolk Bakeries operated formally and was located in Streetsboro, Ohio. As of April 2023, we have sold our Streetsboro business location and are operating out of our home bakery location in Hudson, Ohio.
