About Us
Something Familiar and Something New
Nearly four decades ago, my parents came to the United States as first generation immigrants. They started a journey that eventually led them to create their first small business, a Chinese restaurant located in a small city in northeast Ohio. My mom would also create Asian-style cakes and desserts for customers who longed for a taste of their home countries. Kinfolk Bakery comes from a labor of love as we serve our communities with something familiar - or something new. Since 2018, Kinfolk Bakeries operated formally and was located in Streetsboro, Ohio. As of April 2023, we have sold our Streetsboro business location and operate as a home bakery.
